 Les Deux Brasseurs
8.5% abv
Les Deux Brasseurs is a Golden Ale fermented with two strains of Brettanomyces. This beer is brewed using Pilsner Malt and a small amount of Torrified Wheat. The Golden Ale is then hopped with German Hallertau and fermented and aged for four months. In the course of the brew it was dry hopped with Czech Saaz.
The result is a beer of remarkable character with significant fruit tones, including; pear, apple and pineapple. This beer also produces the flavors of graham cracker, barnyard character and is rounded by an herbal spicy hop finish.

Scaldis Prestige is the result of an exceptional 6 month-long maturing process in French oak barrels which occurs after primary fermentation During this time, the tannins from the oak blend perfectly with the beer to create an incredibly rich and complex range of flavours and aromas. After barrel aging, Prestige is re-fermented again in the bottle. This triple fermentation process (primary fermentation followed by barrel fermentation and finished by re-fermentation in the bottle) gives Scaldis Prestige a smoothness and richness that is unrivaled by any other beer.

Pompier English-Style Barley Wine |
 1 liter swing-top bottle from Pennichuck Brewing Co.. Pours a murky, virtually opaque copper colored body with a good inch of off-white head that slowly dissipates leaving some spectacular lacing. Smells fruity, woody, alcoholic, with definite bourbon notes. Tastes fruity, vinous, with caramel and toffee notes and wood and bourbon character. Aftertaste has a woody toffee character. Just a tinge of alcohol warming, though alcohol isn't nearly as present as expected. Full-bodied but stopping short of viscosity, with moderate carbonation. Complex, balanced, and unique. Perfect for sipping.

 This style of beer was first brewed in England for the Russian Czar and it is the king of stouts. Plenty of big malt flavors- chocolate and roasted- and high alcohol with lower carbonation and mild hops.
This beer is brewed with double the malts and four times the hops of regular stouts!
Otter Creek Russian Imperial Stout clocks in around 10% ABV- a beer to be savored responsibly. True to style, this beer will last for years so you may want to stock up on a few bottles for your cellar while it's available.
